We must continue to fight against the corrupt Trump regime. Below are action steps you can take to help save our country!

Contact Congress/Attorneys General

1. From Indivisible — Trump and the GOP’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” is anything but — it’s a dangerous piece of legislation that would gut Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP benefits, and more, all to hand out massive tax breaks to the wealthy.
   
   We must stop this. Take the Let’s Stop the Cuts pledge and join the fight to protect critical programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and SNAP.

2. Join Sun Day — Take Action: Stop the “Big Ugly Bill” by writing to your senators to tell them to protect clean power and lower our energy bills by rejecting the HR1 budget bill. This bill would set back America’s clean energy economy and raise utility prices. For more information about the bill and to contact your senators, click here.

3. Contact all senators to vote against Eric Bove as justice for the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He has directed the DOJ to ignore court rulings, ordered prosecutors to drop charges against NYC mayor, Eric Adams, and led a purge of career officials at DOJ and the FBI. 3. Save the The Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP), a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program. FHIP was created in 1987 to support people facing housing discrimination, educate about the nation’s fair housing laws, and cure the harmful effects of housing discrimination. Trump has terminated 78 grants to local fair housing organizations and the next budget will eliminate the program entirely. Please call your Members of Congress (MoC), 202-224-3121, and demand that they preserve FHIP. For more info about FHIP and a script to call your MoC, click here.

4. California’s state legislature has written a bill, No Secret Police Act, to ban the use of masks by law enforcement, including federal ICE agents operating in California, and requires clear identification on uniforms during arrests. Contact your state legislature and tell them to introduce and pass a similar version of California’s No Secret Police Act. Click here to contact them.

5. From Indivisible Blue State Defiance — Safeguarding Civil Liberties: What Blue State Attorneys General Must Do To Stop ICE Overreach Contact your blue state attorney general and tell them to fight ICE’s overreach. Phone Banking, Canvassing, Texting, and Postcard Writing

1. Join a phone bank to rally voters in key states to call their elected representatives and insist that they vote against the reconciliation bill. The bill will slash Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP and more, all to give tax cuts to the wealthy.

2. Join Indivisible’s Neighbor 2 Neighbor campaign. Knock on doors to help your neighbors understand what is in the reconciliation bill. When you sign up they’ll send you a list of five like-minded neighbors, a sample script, and leave-behind literature to help your neighbors take action to oppose this bill. 3. Join Indivisible for a phone bank training on Mondays, 5–6 PM ET, designed for beginners and seasoned activists. No calls required. They will walk you through the process of making phone calls so you’ll feel confident and prepared before making your first phone call. Sign up here.

3. Join Common Cause Phone bank and mobilize voters to take action against dangerous legislation in state houses around the country. They will focus on the most urgent campaigns that need our help. Issues include stopping bills that make it difficult for students, minorities, seniors, veterans, and others to vote. The phone banks are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at various times. Sign up here.

4. Please join a virtual phone bank for Democrats to call North Carolina voters on various dates. It’s an opportunity to build power for the Democrats so we can flip North Carolina blue! Sign up here.

5. Canvass for Democrats and talk with voters in North Carolina in various counties. This is also a great opportunity to help flip North Carolina blue!

6. The SAVE Act, A GOP-backed bill, would make voter registration significantly more difficult for married women, transgender individuals, seniors, people with disabilities, and minorities. The legislation is aimed at addressing the largely unsubstantiated issue of noncitizen voting. While the bill has already passed in the House, it could still be blocked in the Senate if Democratic members remain united.
   
   Common Cause will be hosting phone banks every Tuesday and Thursday either from 5:30–7:30 PM ET or from 6–8 PM ET to call swing state voters and encourage them to urge their legislators to oppose this bill. Volunteers will have the opportunity to patch voters directly through to their lawmakers, allowing them to express their outrage and advocate against the legislation. 7. Grassroots Democrats, in partnership with the California Democrats, Team Pelosi, and the Los Angeles Democratic Party, are hosting the Hands Off Our Health care Phonebank on Thursdays. Fifteen million Californians and 72 million Americans rely on Medicaid to get the care they need. They are mobilizing constituents in three battleground districts to fight against the Republicans who are attacking our health care. Please sign up here to join.

8. Join Black Voters Matter on Zoom at 6 PM ET every week on Tuesdays as they gather to drive change through digital organizing. Their texting campaigns will give you the opportunity to engage residents across the U.S. while empowering them to make a positive impact in their communities. Write postcards to voters to help safeguard our democracy, win elections, and build voter enthusiasm and turnout to elect progressives and climate champions! 1. Attention Florida residents, have you re-registered for your mail-in ballot? Florida law requires a re-do for your mail-in ballot requests each cycle. Previous instructions have been canceled. Requesting a vote by mail ballot gives you multiple options to ensure your voice is heard at the polls. 2. Contact Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier now. The message is clear: No airports. No rock mines. No prisons. Only Everglades. They want to build a massive detention facility called Allegator Alcatraz which will upset the environmental ecosystem of the Everglades. This land deserves lasting protection. Write to them here.
