DNC Leadership is launching a new Organizing Program. It’s a bold new initiative to harness grassroots energy, call out Republican extremism, and build lasting power in communities across the country.
In just a few short months, Trump has launched attacks on our freedoms, empowered extremists, and made clear that his second term will be even more dangerous than the first. We can’t afford to sit back and wait — we need to organize, and we need to organize now!

Joe Katz at Rogan’s List shared information on the upcoming MAY DAY protests and some great ideas for creative activism.
“Our next major mass mobilization is coming on May Day, and it’s going to be BIG. … Mark this international worker’s holiday and fight against the war on working people — let’s protect our schools, our public services, our unions, and our families.”

30 Lonely but Beautiful Actions — Stealthy Activism (H/T The White Pages)
Barnraisers Project founder Garrett Bucks suggested small ways to stay grounded and serve others.
Print out little stickers. Write a message on them. Put them up on poles, in restrooms, at gas stations. Make them pithy. Don’t lead with “Trump and Musk are fascists.” The people for whom that message is appealing are already with us. Instead, say “Trump and Musk don’t care about you.”
Buy some chalk. Put it in your bags. Find a good spot and write in big, bold letters “Trump and Musk look out for billionaires. Who is looking out for you?”
Learn to wheatpaste. Print out signs. Make the messages big. “Trump and Musk are screwing over working people” or “Trump and Musk want sick people to die.” Put signs on every corner including ‘Trump and Musk are killing small businesses.”
Volunteer Blue and its 40-plus partner organizations are (re)inviting you to a special event, No Kings Then 1775; No Kings Now 2025.
We will focus on strategies and pragmatic actions we can take to stop the destruction of our democracy with our special guests speakers:

Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell
U.S. Representative Jamie Raskin
Together, we will answer the question: What CAN and MUST we all do to win this fight?

INDIVISIBLE SF sent us a timely Call to Action to push back on ICE:
Safeguarding Civil Liberties: What Democratic Attorneys General Must Do to Stop ICE Overreach
“From Indivisible National: In the past two months, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has escalated a disturbing pattern of allegedly targeting and forcibly disappearing international students, professors, lawful permanent residents, and others on valid visas, in many cases, without following due process — seemingly not for any criminal activity, but for their political speech and participation. These are not isolated incidents; they are deliberate warning shots aimed at those who dare to express a political opinion that Donald Trump disagrees with.”
Contact your Attorney General and tell them: speak out, file lawsuits, and intervene on behalf of any person kidnapped by ICE.
The Native Organizers Alliance Fund is asking us to help oppose Donald Trump’s sweeping Executive Order targeting state and local climate laws, threatening to further derail climate progress. It’s time for states and Tribes to work together to maximize political power.
Write a letter to tell your governor to oppose Trump’s executive order targeting state climate laws.
Lean Left Vermont is warning us that the SAVE Act, now in the U.S. Senate, could disenfranchise millions of voters.
Sign up here for the Common Cause phone bank on Tuesdays, 6–8 PM ET.
Alert your family and friends in ME, PA, AZ, NH, & NV.
To pass the Senate, the Save Act needs seven Democratic votes. Urge your friends in these states to call their senators and tell them to vote against it:Sen. Angus King (Maine): 202-224-5344 (DC), 207-245-1565 (Portland)
Sen. John Fetterman (Pennsylvania): 202-224-4254 (DC), 717-782-3951 (Harrisburg)
Sen. Ruben Gallego (Arizona): 202-224-4521 (DC), 480-697-3600 (Phoenix)
Sen. Mark Kelly (Arizona): 202-224-2235 (DC), 602-671-7901 (Phoenix)
Sen. Maggie Hassan (New Hampshire): 202-224-3324 (DC), 603-622-2204 (Manchester)
Sen. Jacky Rosen (Nevada): 202-224-6244 (DC), 775-337-0110 (Reno)
Sample message: This legislation would require all Americans to provide a birth certificate, passport, or one of a few other citizenship documents every time they register or re-register to vote. If enacted, it would devastate voter registration while disenfranchising tens of millions of eligible American citizens. I urge you to vote NO.
Deepak at Democracy Labs wrote this post for us: Republican Budget Explained.
The Republican plan is simple: give billions in tax cuts to the ultra-wealthy, then gut the programs working Americans rely on to pay for it.
