How embarrassing will it be for us as Americans to have a convicted felon as President who can’t travel to diplomatic events?
Incredibly embarrassing.
Yes, if Donald Trump wins the presidency, he will probably just immediately pardon himself for any and all federal convictions. But he could still be convicted on non-federal crimes during his term.
Regardless it’s absolutely wild to even have to entertain these questions. Before every overseas trip, the press will ask what restrictions on travel there might be due to the President’s past felony convictions and/or ongoing criminal trials.
Let’s not go down this road.
Best just to avoid this situation and elect Kamala Harris.
If he actually ends up in the WH again, embarrassment will be the least of our concerns.
So...let's say Trump goes to visit his friend Putin, could we refuse him entry when he comes back, or does the ban only apply to people who are not citizens. Asking for a friend....
