Trump has called for the elimination of the US Department of Education, and the consequences will be disastrous.
Tomorrow, the American Federation of Teachers will be holding events across the country to ignite the public against the proposed actions by the Trump Administration.
In advance of those events, we are jumping on social media today under the hashtag #DontDefundPublicSchools to get the conversation started. We will likely follow up tomorrow with another messaging push, in concert with the AFT events.
