Trump’s mass deportations and revived workplace raids have gutted agriculture, construction, hospitality, and child care. Removing even a fraction of the undocumented workforce would erase millions of jobs, including millions held by U.S.-born workers.
But resistance shows up here too: immigration lawyers, volunteers, and civil-rights groups have activated rapid-response teams at deportation sites, with organizations launching high-visibility campaigns at airports and federal buildings to defend families and expose abuses.
Tariffs That Punish Families
Trump’s tariffs hit more than 70% of food imports, sending grocery prices skyrocketing. Beef, coffee, produce—everything spiked.
And Americans are fighting this too: nationwide rallies like “No Kings Day” and “Stop Schedule F” have become some of the largest protest days in U.S. history, sparking voter drives and local organizing that aim to turn public pressure into power at the ballot box.
The Resistance Rising
