The House is Voting
Republicans barely forced through Trump’s disastrous “Big Beautiful Bill” yesterday, with Vance swooping in as the tie-breaker. Now this bill is even closer to becoming reality, and if it does, it will:
gut Medicaid by $1 trillion
sabotage assistance programs for low-income individuals
expand funding for ICE
remove protections and Pell Scholarship eligibility for college students
increase the National Debt Limit by $5 trillion
privatize public land with no environmental or tribal consultation
restrict Congress’s ability to oversee the President’s ability to fire federal employees
But we still have a chance!
