It’s everywhere, corporate media abandoning the people. All you have to do is look at their parent companies and advertisers to find out why. You may not think that money is controlling the news and media that you consume but it is, setting up the potential for bias and agenda setting in their reporting. Mainstream Media’s monetary obligations have them not responsible to the American people and the reporting of truth but to the political whims of those in a position of power.
This discriminatory framing and reporting of stories leads to the exclusion of diversity in content, suppressing voices and becoming an extreme threat to democracy.
Enter Alternative Media.
More and more Americans are getting their media from alternative sources. We must bypass the financial obligations of the mainstream media by leveraging platforms where Americans are hanging out. Oligarchy journalism will destroy us. Here’s how we fight back…
