Help Win the Info War from Your Couch
Join DemCast’s Content Curation Team (2–5+ hrs/week)
Since 2019, DemCast has recruited, trained, and deployed everyday people to spread pro-democracy messages and counter MAGA disinformation online. We’ve taught tens of thousands to turn their social feeds into force multipliers — and we’re gearing up for our biggest push yet.
What’s new
We’re building a dedicated Content Curation Team so volunteers across our network always have a steady stream of strong, ready-to-share videos, memes, and graphics - packaged with smart messaging - in the Reach app and our social toolkits.
What you’ll do (pick one or both)
Curate: Hunt down compelling, credible content that informs, inspires, and moves people to share.
Caption/Copy: Write short, punchy post text that fits platform norms and lands the message.
Why it matters
Quality + consistency beats the chaos. When thousands of us share the same clear message - day after day - we shape the narrative, lift good information, and blunt disinformation.
Who thrives in this role
People who are great at spotting what will hit on social
Strong short-form writers who can land a message in 1–3 lines
Anyone who’d rather fight for democracy from behind the screen — introverts, folks with disabilities, night owls, parents between pickups, you name it
Time: 2–5 hours/week, fully remote.
Training & guidance provided. No “influencer” status required.
