The Trump administration's latest move to deploy the National Guard against peaceful protesters is a stark reminder that we are on the brink of a constitutional crisis.
Seems like we are already on a full blown constitutional crisis and need to bring understanding of that quickly and move forward quickly with that knowledge.
These were peaceful protesters! How dare F47 turn the National Guard against them. The Constitution gives the people the right to peacefully protest! I agree that we are in the middle of a CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS. We MUST show the Trump Criminal Regime that no matter what, we will follow the Constitutional Laws of our Democracy and not give up our Rights and our Freedoms! The regime is attacking the people and trying to beat us down until we subsume to them and give up. NO WAY SHOULD WE DO THAT!! As long as we stay together and don’t give in to them we have a chance to keep our Democracy. Do not give in and never surrender.
Many men and women fought and died for our Constitutional Rights. At the ripe young age of 72, I would be willing to die for our Constitution and Freedoms. We must protect it for all generations of the future.
And if they come for me someday, I won’t remain Silent‼️
What are you willing to do for your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and even future generations that carry your blood? Are you ready to fight for their Freedoms as your ancestors fought for you?
Only you can answer that question. But, your Heart already knows the answer. Yes, we are all afraid, just as afraid as the young 18 year old was when he/she marched into their first battle. We can’t let fear control us because that is what autocrats depend on. We must move past our fears of them, and decide that not having Freedoms are a more fearsome way of life.
