On January 24, 2026, federal immigration agents in Minneapolis shot and killed a 37-year-old U.S. citizen during an ICE operation in the Eat Street neighborhood. He lawfully owned a firearm and had no serious criminal history. Bystander video appears to show him wrestling with masked agents before gunfire. Federal agents carried out three fatal shootings in Minneapolis in three weeks.”
