SOCIAL MEDIA RALLY: The GOP is coming for IVF
Today, Republicans in the Senate are voting to block our right to access IVF.
MAGA Extremists’ Next Target: IVF
From the Biden-Harris Campaign:
On Monday, Donald Trump addressed the Danbury Institute, an organization that proudly wants to “eradicate” abortion, calling his audience “wonderful pastors and faith leaders, very respected people gathered for the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting.” He thanked them for their “tremendous support” of him:
Wednesday, the Southern Baptist Convention voted to oppose IVF.
Today, Donald Trump’s anti-IVF allies in the Senate GOP will vote to block the Right to IVF Act that would protect access to IVF nationwide.
Trump has made clear he will not protect access to IVF. Trump appointed an anti-IVF judge to a lifetime judicial federal appointment. He even added her to a list of potential Supreme Court picks. Finally, in his TIME interview last month, Trump refused to say he would veto federal legislation that would ban abortion and threaten IVF access across the country.
What’s Next?
86% of Americans believe IVF should remain legal.
With their vote today blocking legislation that would protect our access to IVF, Republicans are making it clear: they think they know better than all of us what is good and what is right. They want to take away our ability to determine the course of our own families.
If they come after IVF, what’s next?
