Imagine choosing between putting dinner on the table or going to the doctor. This is the current reality for one in three Americans.
Senate Republicans dismantled the Affordable Care Act and enacted destructive Medicaid cuts. The fallout is bleak: premiums are skyrocketing and rural hospitals are closing. Eighty percent of ACA enrollees report that their costs have surged. Families are being forced to pay more for health care, while Republicans protect the ultra-wealthy and give massive tax breaks to corporate donors.
And it only gets worse. When more than $900 billion in cuts go into effect in December, the CBO projects that up to 16 million Americans will lose their coverage.
Democrats will never stop fighting for a health care system that prioritizes people over corporate profits. Remember who created this mess in November.
