Two Pictures That Perfectly Describe The Choice This November
The photo of Tim Walz with schoolchildren after signing free school lunches into law is iconic and tells the story of the Democratic party.
A Tale of Two Bill Signings
Exhibit A: Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, after making breakfast and lunch free for all schoolchildren.
Exhibit B: Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, after rolling back child labor laws so that children can be put to work.
Just look at the faces on those kids.
It really says it all, doesn’t it?
Telling the Tale of the Two Parties
On cable news shows over the past few weeks, Governor Tim Walz has been unabashedly defending policies like feeding children and protecting reproductive rights. And he should. Democrats should portray themselves as the party that cares. The party that protects our freedoms.
On the flip side, Republicans want to take us backward to a time when women were subservient to men and kids worked in factories as cheap labor that could help maximize profits. They are the party of corporate greed, billionaires and control over our personal choices.
We need to look for opportunities like this to tell our story as a party over the coming months.
Pictures can be worth a thousand words:
We are strong. They are weak. There are more of us than them. Time to translate the momentum into votes this November.
Now that voters are tuning in to the election, they are seeing what's at stake in this election. The choice is clear.
We still have work to do. Let's make sure that every likely Democrat we know is Registered to vote, knows how to vote, knows where to vote, checks to make sure that they weren't removed from the active voting rolls and check to make sure that their vote counted.
Offer help to those who need it. They can keep on doing the weird and crazy stuff. If we do the work, we will win!
Omg. 😳 Priceless. All of it. The contrast draws itself. Thank you!
