Why You Need to Join Reach
The 2024 Digital Field Team has incredible content that you can share from your social media feeds 24/7.
Door-Knocking in the Digital Age
Over 50% of Americans now get their news via their social media feeds.
I know…that’s scary. But we can’t ignore the fact.
The other fact we can’t ignore is that the right wing still dominates across social platforms, spreading disinformation via a massive social media army now surpassing us on platforms like TikTok that were once owned by the left.
They make a lot of noise. So we need to as well.
While door-to-door canvassing is still a crucial form of activism for getting out the vote and informing voters, filling digital spaces with helpful messaging and facts that counter disinformation is also critical to modern campaigning.
And unlike in-person door-knocking, you can do digital door-knocking by posting a video, graphic, meme or message while you’re waiting in line at the grocery store or during half-time at the kids’ soccer games. Quick, two-minute activism right in your pocket.
Reach is a Superior Tool
DemCast specializes in organic digital amplification, so we know a thing or two about this.
Reach is the best all-around digital organizing tool currently out there. Available both via web browser and mobile app, campaigns and organizations can use Reach to communicate directly with digital activists, house a vast library of shareable content, and drive people to action.
DemCast’s 2024 Digital Field Team is the most active, formidable and effective community on Reach.
Sharing is easy to any and all social media platforms, and every video, meme and graphic in the library is accompanied by suggested post language, making sharing content extremely easy:
One of the best features of Reach is the community chat. Users can opt-in to different groups based on what their interests are, and connect with other users across social media platforms. The 2024 Digital Field Team has dozens of different groups that users can join:
Hint: You can browse and select user groups to join (or leave) by clicking on your profile picture in the upper righthand corner of the screen, and selecting “Join/Leave User Groups”.
One of our favorite aspects of Reach is the ability to send & receive notifications via the mobile app about social media storms, crucial actions, messaging guidance, and other updates/announcements.
We HIGHLY recommend leaving notifications ON for the Reach app so that you get notice of opportunities for activism. (If notifications from chat groups are getting overwhelming, notifications for each group can be individually deactivated! Just ask for help if you can’t identify how…)
Joining Reach
Because Reach was originally built as a peer-to-peer organizing app, the info required to sign up is your cell phone number, name and email. The app also asks for location information, but sharing that is not required.
The sign-up process is very simple.
Download the mobile app on your device here: (Apple, Android), and/or…

Reach Tutorial
Watch a recording of a training we did for Reach users in March, 2024:
We hope to see you join the 2024 Digital Field Team in Reach!
Where's the link to sign up for tonight's training? I clicked on it in the Reach app; it's disappeared but I don't see that I'm signed up.
I’m not seeing any content about the trial…am I missing it?
