Congress seems intent on passing bills that will require many more workers to implement, all while the Turnip Administration is laying off people who might be needed to carry out these ambitious plans. I worked for the Welfare Department in California just after Reagan was elected governor. He put a freeze on hiring just as the federal food stamp program was opening up. I was moved from social work to eligibility in the food stamp department. I was doing 10 new interviews a day and had a caseload of 350 households that needed to be visited in person to ensure that their food was kept separate from roommates. The pressure was unbelievable. I had to quit after a year to protect my health. Turnip is doing the same thing, but on a national scale. I weep for our federal workforce!

Strange.

Why did you leave out ACLU? Public Citizen? Sierra Club? They are fighting back and suing Trump in the COURTS - where it counts. They use our dues money to pay legal fees and lawyers.
