In recent years we made lots of progress in overcoming our disadvantage but we clearly have more work to do.
Now is the time to build upon what we have already accomplished by creating a massive, decentralized digital army that spreads pro-democracy messaging and facts 24/7/365.

I'm already pouring it on for the '25 and '26 congressional and state legislative races. I have the knowledge base so I'm intent on making Information Bank the preeminent resource for people running for state and local office and their supporters.
DemCast is a massive army of individuals across all social platforms spreading messaging. Maybe he can squash us all, but we’re going to make it as hard as humanly possible.

Here's the proposal for a small part of the solution:
A communication strategy to develop our own bot farms to counteract misinformation:
- We create 100 answers to different misinformation
- AI scans social media for any hint of misinformation
- Bots swarm to the post or comment and post many corrections.
- Even if we don't have an immediate answer to the misinformation, the bot posts a graphic of how awesome the economy was under Biden, or how opioid deaths are down 20%, etc. Get the fake news posters responding to our legitimate posts that can be fact checked.
We can't wait for "fact checking" - the misinformation has already cemented in place. We must swoop in the second it's posted so we have a chance to counteract it.
It’s allll about the algorithm. Trumpers never saw our social media or emails or text messages because their realm is all content that is fed to them based on their search footprint. Our digital project managers need to figure out how to break into their world with negative keywords and phrases
Nick, I truly believe that this is the way forward. People need to see how they are being misled by false information. Our side needs to offer a constant drip of facts to counter the lies. People should be outraged by the grift and criminality of Trump and his progeny.
We need explainers that clearly explain how democracy is being eroded by Supreme Court decisions, the oligarchs and Christian Nationalism.
